职责描述: Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant Reporting Produce management information to satisfy group and local deadlines. Analysis of material variances. To liaise with relevant departments to assist with the resolution of costing and master data queries. Review trends and challenge current performance, identifying risks and opportunities. Presenting clear financial information to support decision making at all levels of management. Create reports to challenge operational activities with a view to pro-actively drive cost savings. Month End Reporting Assist in the month end process. Identify opportunities to reduce the time taken to finalise the accounts. The ability to work to tight deadlines and build relationships with staff at all levels is essential. Monthly payroll journals, including holiday pay accrual and wages reserve Process Improvement Identify and help to drive process efficiencies within the finance and controlling areas. Support the Senior Management Accountant in the improvement of internal controls and processes. Develop a full understanding of the procedures and processes Forecasting & Budgeting Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and projections. Production of cash flow forecasting Compliance Assume responsibility for the completion and accuracy of key balance sheet reconciliations as directed by the Senior Management Accountant. Assist with internal, group and external audits as and when required. Support the Finance Manager to ensure delivery of all reporting and services to clients to agreed deadlines Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals & prepayments for key stakeholders Preparing budget and forecasts. Analysing variances and providing commentary and explanations On those variances Undertake balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations, VAT returns, Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable reconciliations Payroll Supervision of payroll and of all matters relating to PAYE & NI Desirable Requirements of the Senior Accountant Experience in preparing accounts to PL and Balance Sheet stage Experience of working to tight deadlines Strong analytical skills Problem solving abilities Ability to deal with high volumes of work and prioritise accordingly High level of IT knowledge including advanced knowledge of excel Autonomy and ability to work with minimal supervision Good work ethic with an energetic approach Ability to work as part of a team and contribute in a positive manner to the overall performance of the team Flexibility and commitment to completing the task in hand Degree or recognisable qualification Ability to demonstrate implementation of process and control environment improvements Strong written and verbal communication skills Hours of work Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:30 (flexibility required) Salary - Negotiable Super Smart Service is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
